On 5 September 2023, Antoine Socquet-Juglard from Mégeve set a new record for the Tour of Mont-Blanc on a mountain-bike. Antoine did this without any crew to provide bike changes and nourishment, in a time of 15 hours 55 minutes, beating the previous record set earlier this summer.

- At around 1 p.m., the first finisher of the MCC is expected under the finish arch in front of the town hall of Chamonix, while the 1,000 runners will have started at 10 o'clock from Martigny (Switzerland).
Tuesday, 1st August 2023, two men aged 26 and 36, died while climbing the Aiguille du Tour, from the Swiss side of the mountain at the north end of Mont Blanc massif.
Two separate accidents on the same day, on the same mountain, both caused by falling rocks.
A 26-year-old French mountaineer and a 36-year-old climber from the Netherlands were climbing the east face of the Aiguille du Tour which overlooks the Trient Glacier, on the Swiss side of the Mont Blanc massif.
Although the outdoor pool at the Richard Boxon Sports Centre has been open since 1 July, today Saturday 8 July 2023, saw the official opening of the pool, with free access, a ceremony and a demonstration.
The Chamonix out-door Swimming pool is 50 metres in length and is a stainless steel basin.
For the opening ceremony, Eric Fournier, in the company of Ghislaine Bossonney and Aurélie Beaufour, cut the tricolor ribbon.
