Since work began last April, renovations of the Mont Blanc Express

railway line have been delayed, namely at the Tunnel des Montets.

There have apparently been planning & organizational problems, which the Réseau Ferré de France (RFF) is unwilling to discuss.

However, the RFF has confirmed that the reopening of the Tunnel des Montets in December 2012 will be only for road vehicules and not for trains, which will teminate in Montroc.

A replacement bus service is being consideration, leaving from Argentière.
